Staff were not helpful or friendly, I'm unsure why they bother providing breakfast when they clear it way regular well before 10am. The place smells pretty bad. It won't kill you but if you can find somewhere else I would. Lauren, from New Zealand ~ 26th Oct 2009

Stayed here for a few days over Queen's day. Location is great, 10 minutes to museums and Heineken, 20 minutes to Central Station. Otherwise, it was the most expensive hostel I have ever stayed in and the worst. Bathrooms were a mess, rooms very small, staff not very friendly. Free breakfast is just a toast with a few spreads. Easiest and cheapest way to get here from Schiphol is to take bus 350 or 197 from the airport and get off at Leidseplein. Then walk in the direction of the bus, take first dmytro, from Ukraine ~ 8th May 2009
