Andes Hostel en Santiago, Chile

Andes Hostel has a very good and central location and is very clean and stylishly decorated. It is a good base for exporing the city. However, some of the staff are less than helpful and compared to other hostels the atmosphere is not condusive to meeting other travelers, hanging out, etc.

Margaret we are so surprised with your comments. This friday we had a wonderful night, we had free pasta and wine and you didnt want to join us. On Saturday we watched the match of Chile v/s Colombia, we had free pisco sour, everybody celebrate with us the victory, we had people from all over the world having fun, again you didnt join. Yesterday we had another celebration at the bar and Juan Pablo, the receptionist invite you and for third time you didnt want to join. Then why did you write about the hostel not being condusive to meet other travellers? could it be your atittude instead of the hostel? You will never meet other people if you are not open to share and have fun

Best location, next to the Metro. We had a lot of fun, the living room was a place to meet and chat with everybody. the shower was great and hot, after a day walking, was perfect.
