It is a bit far away from the town and it is a bit difficult to find it at night. But once we got there, we got a really warm reception and when we left they gave us nice directions and places to visit. Great Place! Roger, from Spain ~ 1st Aug 2009

Very clean and nice looking place 10 minutes from Kilkenny. The family staff was very helpful and friendly. Propably one of best places provided you have a car, otherwise the location might be a problem. Matti, from Finland ~ 2nd Jul 2009

One of the greatest hostels we've ever been in. The host family was very very nice and helpful when we had questions about trips or everything else. The hostel itself was very clean and it was a lovely setup. We felt quite homey. We'll visit it again on our next trip to Ireland and we can recommend it by 100 percent. Dermett and Sandra were extremely gracious hosts. We felt very welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a private bathroom complete win bath and shower. Upon arrival there was tea waiting for us in our room, and in the morning, we were provided with a full Irish breakfast, and cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, and tea as well. Our stay was definitely one of the highlights our trip. The only drawback is probably the location. While in a lovely country setting, it is so Kenneth, from USA ~ 22nd Feb 2009
