The hostel was great.The manager was not there when we got there, but he made sure someone waited for us, gave us the key and showed us the room.The people were very cordial and the room has a great view. The hostel is very close to the places you want to visit and it is only a 10min walk to old town.The only problem is climbing the steep staircase, 6 floors up.It discourages frequent trips back and forth!Great hostel! Since it was low season I was offered for a very reasonable sum an upgrade to a single room on the top floor with a spectacular view of the castle across the river. The location is fantastic and the place was quiet, warm, clean and safe, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely return. Daniel, from Chile ~ 9th Dec 2011

Staff was awesome.We got upgraded to a private room which was basically an apartment for a mere 5 euros!George was awesome. The location is really good and you can pretty much walk everywhere you'd want to.The only thing was that the room was probably a bit too good because we slept too much and stayed in to cook dinner.It was a good time. kenneth, from Canada ~ 15th Oct 2011

It was a great place for a quiet stay in Prague.The hostel is very well located, in walking distance from all major historical sites and main train station.I was on business trip so access to internet was very important for me, as well as the quietness of the accommodation.Both were provided.Important caveat, I stayed in a double room. My room was absolutely great, nice floors high ceilings, my windows opened out to the street got great sun every morning. The only negative was they had a bowl under the toilet to catch whatever water leaks when you flush it..wtf Just fix the damn thing!!! Laurel, from Jamaica ~ 11th Oct 2011

We had a few issues checking in (the office was closed when it was supposed to be open) but we were given alternatives for checking in. They were quite friendly and helpful if we approached them, but generally we didn't see anyone except for those staying in the room next to us. Pretty quiet and it didn't have much of a common area.
