Backpackers Hostel Verona en Nagano (hakuba), Italia

The friendly staff in this hostel made a difference. The shared kitchen had had much of it's crockery, cutlery&glasses etc stolen by residents, so there were no cups to use for drinks (!).Bring a camping cup/cutlery/plate! The staff gave us disposable plastic cups to use. It was very hard to find the hostel (which is a halls of residence next to the hospital in term time) - and to get back into Verona make sure you take the bus in the right direction otherwise it takes ages! nice hostel, normally a residence hall for students, thats why the rooms,baths and kitchen are hugh and great! but very far away from the center and the train station sothat you always have to take the bus! In the bus you have to buy the ticket at a machine and you need exactly 1,20, you wont get change!!!!! staff was very nice and helpful, but unfortunately they had not even a map of the city. furthermore wifi is for free but you have to go to the university for getting your code- complicated!
