Stayed in a double room which had it's own shower and toilet. Very small but all you need from a hostel, really. No fridge, kettle or microwave, just a comunal fridge where other people may eat your food (which did happen to us). Great location! I thought breakfast was included by it isn't, just a coffee.

Staff had very little English and almost no desire to try.
Food stolen from community fridge.
Best feature proximity to Alhambra and roof top swimming pool, good access to public transport

1) Upon arrival, was told check in was at 2pm. No one available otherwise at desk which shuts down. Called hotel # to ask about bag storage until check in and was told "take an aspirin and leave me alone" ...then they hung up.
2) There is NO WIRELESS as stated
3) Internet is one station that is only turned on during day hours (almost impossible to access long line waiting)
4) Stayed 3 nights and NEVER had cleanup in room
5) No air conditioning or fan
6) No phone to call cab
7) Rarely anyo

The breakfast was a really bad joke. Coffe and crackers are not exactly what I imagined a "breakfast".
The fact, that there was a hole in the wall of my room did not exactly amuse me either, as well as the fact, that the room was everything but clean.
The aspect that the employee did not speak a single word english is disgraceful considering, that the hostel is situated right next to the Alhambra, a monument, that attracts vast numbers of international guests.
Furthermore it is ridicul

Great price, sweet pool, nice staff, little hike from town but worth it if you can walk 20 minutes uphill.

I didn't enjoy my stay in this hostel at all, from the moment I arrived there was a problem with my reservation (the receptionist on duty solved it after about an hour) and the room could have been cleaner. It is very modest, you need to bring your own towels and soap (soap should be provided everywhere). The hot water in the shower ran out too fast, and the bathroom is extremely small and uncomfortable.
In the booking page there is no mention of a curfew, but the place closes from 2am to 7am,

if you dont speak any spanish this might be a hard place for you to stay. but if its just a bed you need while visiting the alhambra then this place will work perfectly.

We enjoyed staying here! it was well worth of money and now that weve been travelling around spain its probably the best! though it was a bit far from center but next to alhambra if u plan to visit there. there are minibuses which take u quickly to the center and if u use those a lot u can buy a 10-trip card from the bus so its cheaper. theres a 2 eur deposit! but i highly recommend you this hostel! it had a great roof-terrace and a swimming pool, which ive never seen in a hostel before!
