Balboas Hostal en San Sebastian, Spain

we were 4 personnes and we feel a bit cheated, to pay 120 euros per night in a tiny room where we slept 4 personnes in not got a door key to lock, to have our things safer, while in the other room had padlock .. . not anything like the room and the price we had arranged much better, a room for two for that price.

I am sorry if you felt a bit cheated, you came to san sebastian during high season and thats the price for that season in any place. We are a guesthouse, all guesthouses with private rooms for 4 people don´t have big rooms, because we are not hotels. We arranged to put you in that place because you told us (by email) you wanted to be together and that was the only room availabe we had.

Il faut préciser qu'il s'agit de chambres dans un appartement et non pas d'un hôtel ! Et ça on ne nous le dit pas. C'est décevant.

We are sorry if you though this was a hostel, but we are in the property type at hostelworld as a GUESTHOUSE. Also if you see the photos you will see we are a guesthouse with private rooms and also with shared rooms.

the person i was traveling with didn't like that we couldn't lock the door to the actual room. otherwise it was a great place to stay if you plan on being out and about, which is what you should be doing in donostia. Phillip, from USA ~ 21st Aug 2009
