Average stay. Mix up with my booking so was placed in an eight person room instead of the six person I'd booked and paid for. Staff didn't think to be apologetic for the mistake. Room doors have manual locks and lock must be physically turned so the door is locked from the outside - roommates inevitably do not do this so your room and security are often at risk. Location decent, up one end of Banff Ave.

Hi, i have been to banff several times but wanted my son josh to experience a hostel. He loved it. He couldn't believe how friendly the staff were and how cheap the booze and food was. i was a little worryed about wat it would be like but the people there are amazing. its a great inviornment and its a fun place. they always have something happening there everyday. the rooms are great accept haveing to sleep on a bunk bed but still good. there not even 5 minets away from downtown and its realy easy to walk anywhere. they have a city transit witch is conveinent. also ther rooms and the building its self were ceeket extreamily clean and there were places to stoor your things. sean, from Canada ~ 5th Aug 2011

Only good thing about here: location is close to town of Banff. Very poor value for your money. We (young couple) were put in a room with long term stayers, so the room was never cleaned during our 3 night stay.The place is poorly lighted and designed, and the bed is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The place is really loud as people like to party downstairs in the bar, bring your ear plugs if you want to sleep. There's not enough lockers everyone person, so you just hope no one will touch your stu

We appreciate feedback and are glad you enjoyed our locality. We are one of the cheapest accomodations in Banff and all rooms get cleaned daily between 11-3. We appreciate the bar gets busy so operate a quiet time between 11pm - 7am in the rest of the building. We are also currently upgrading the lockers in the building and are happy to keep more valuable items behind front desk. Toby, Assistant manager
