Beatty Lodge en Berlin, Australia

This was the first hostel I stayed at while I was in Australia. It was a pretty decent place. Bathrooms and showers were fairly clean. My room had a few spider webs on the ceiling that had loads of flies in them, but it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely recommend it. Stewart, from USA ~ 23rd Apr 2012

The Beatty Lodge is not worth $50/night for a single room. The staff are very friendly and helpful, avoid room 44 if you can because it's right next to the main door on the floor that people come in and out of so the door is slamming all night long. Bring earplugs. The room has a fan which squeaks, a broken screen so the bugs come in, and the bed itself is uncomfortable with the springs poking in your back.
