We were a bit unsure stay at this hostel at a start as we had read other comments that mostly were negative. We read here and on hostelworld that the hostel is VERY dirty, which is totally true. The rooms are very worn out and out of date. Our double room had a really unpleasant smell that didnt go away no matter how much airing you did and the carpets were visibly unclean! The dorms ve visited and the corridors smelled really bad. The location is though nice, so are the location of Noahs BCP... Elin, from Sweden ~ 10th Mar 2009

I thought the hostel was really dirty, I've stayed in a few hostels over the last few years and this was probably the dirtiest. When I arrived there was no hot water on my floor so had to go downstairs to shower. Some shower cubicles didnt have sinks in either. Some of the staff were lovely, some came across as really abrubt and rude. I wouldn't stay there again. 1 good point the location is PERFECT! Clare, from England ~ 14th Feb 2009

After paying extra for a private room we were very disapointed with the brick wall we had as a view and the general disgusting appearence of the place. Kitchen small and no where near clean and they could do with getting some air con (it is hot in Australia you know).
