I really loved the hostel!!! I would definitely stay there again if I go to NYC However, the south tower on the third floor was akward... It smelled bad and there was people with childrens living there that yelled early in the morning. Please, do something about it! My husband and I had a great time staying here!We enjoyed the neighborhood, it felt safe, even after dark.It was just blocks away from a subway station.There were lots of places to eat within close walking distance, which came in handy after long days of touring the city.The staff was helpful and let us keep our bags in their storage area even after we checked out.We would reccomend this place to other people and will stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to NYC! My experience was terrible in terms of customer service and cleanliness. The location is convenient and other travelers provided a fun atmosphere. However, I arrived in early evening and found that no one was working at the front desk, despite a line of others waiting to check-in and receive their keys. I finally received the key to my room, only to sleep in dirty sheets and be awoken in the night by bugs falling from the ceiling. Complained to management, to no avail. Not recommended. This place was amazing. The room was clean and the bunks were surprisingly comfortable. Everyone on staff was super nice and helpful, especially Julio. He found our lost cell phone minutes after it was lost in the busy lobby and made sure it got back to us safely! It was a bit loud in the morning, but overall a lovely stay. Buen lugar para permanecer de forma barata en la gran manzana. Buen barrio, limpio y seguro. A sólo dos calles del metro y con la línea roja que te deja directamente en la calle 42 y cerca de Times Square. Lo malo es que para usar los ordenadores del hotel n hostel es caro, 1 dólar para 15 minutos, pero estando en el país más capitalista debe ser normal.
