It was probably the best hostel so far in 8 weeks of travelling. It was not a lively party hostel but the staff were really friendly and helpful and it was very clean. The surroundings were beautiful- we saw possums and parrots and there is a bay full of turtles over the road. There is a bus that runs to the main town very frequently. Highly recommend this hostel!! We experienced severe rainy weather typical of the wet season, which stranded us at the hostel. We would take the free shuttle in town and walk in the rain as there was little to do at the hostel. The only game intact was chess. The games box was a mess. The internet was 3x as expensive as in town. Snack food and drinks were expensive. Though there was a large grocer nearby. It was a pretty good hostel. The staff was friendly, the place was nice and clean and had a pretty good atmosphere. But it is out of town for sure which means you have to catch a bus but it also means that its quiet so you will get a good night sleep. Katalin, from Canada ~ 2nd Jan 2009
