The staff was very helpful and we were able to arrange a ride to see the pyramids in Dashur, Sacarra, and Giza. Also, there is a great restaurant that they recommened. The location is fantastic because it is near the metro and the Egypt Museum is about a block away. The bathrooms were clean, but when you shower water goes everywhere! Make sure you bring a towel! They have cheap laundry service also if you need it.

In terms of value for money this is a good place to stay. I took a tour which was organised by the staff, and while it was not the cheapest way to travel, it was easy and the driver was honest and reliable. The staff are all very friendly and and helpful, and apologised profusely for not picking me up from the airport as promised.

The Hostel was excellant and definitly the right price. The staff was extremely helpful for everything from providing directions to various sites, offering advice on where to eat, giving heads up on cost to expects for cabs..., to letting us leave luggage in the storing area even tought we were not staying over night.
This is the perfect place for students and adults on a budget. Maybe not the right place for a honeymoon - single beds, shared bathrooms, etc.

It was very good in canadian hostel. Very good personal - Achmed, Muhamed and other was very friendly. Only Bathroom need reconstruction.

Very pleasant experience. They will try to sell you travel packages through Egypt when you arrive, so be aware of that.
