The capsule experience is very interesting and a must in Japan. The communal baths are also an experience. The hostel is relatively clean and friendly. There have been some bad reviews about service and what not. I would like to say that you are paying hostel prices in a prime spot in Osaka. You are not paying for a 5 star hotel, so don't expect perfection. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it for your trip to Osaka. Thomas, from USA ~ 18th May 2012

I've always wanted to stay in a capsule hotel, and this was a great experience. I enjoyed it - everything was very clean. I did have a little trouble finding the entrance to the hostel. It is on the left side of the building, but the sign inside was not so clear. Elizabeth, from USA ~ 6th May 2012

From Namba Station, about a 15-20 minute walk I was told so I opted for a taxi since we had luggage. The driver, however, dropped us off 1 1/2 blocks further at another capsule hotel and this was after calling for directions! Taxi cost 660 yen and that's what it starts at in Osaka. Asahi Plaza is right on a corner and visible so not to worry. Should've stuck to original plan walking north from Namba Station on main road and turn left on the hotel street but it all worked out on the end. gail, from USA ~ 15th May 2012

If you are, like me, expecting a "normal" hostel with a bed or room, you are up for a surprise. You are not allowed to bring any luggage or items into the sleeping room/capsule with you, so you must leave your things in a locker two floors down. If you can't fit your luggage bag into the locker (which is highly likely since its a very small locker) you need to let the staff store it for you, for an additional fee of 200 yen per day. You must also leave your locker key with the staff each time Mattias, from Sweden ~ 31st Mar 2012

The stay at the capsule hotel was a great experience. It wasn't that small as i thought. You'll get a pyjama, toothbrush and -paste, shaver, a lot of different cosmetics, towels, hot bath and sauna - and this is all inclusive. Alex, from Germany ~ 13th Mar 2012
