Warning to this place! Please check out other options in Edinburgh before choosing this dirty and expensive place. I have never been to such a dirty "hotel", they are not keeping up to any decent standard and I'm in the process if reporting them to the Scottish Tourism Board. There are other suitable places, keep looking, DO NOT book the Carlton Hotel. No service, dirty and falling apart. There were blood stains on the bedding valance and the front door key didn't work, hence being locked ou

It was the worst guest-house that I saw 1-There was no towel in the room. I had to ask to have one 2- there was no chair in the room, I asked one because for my work I had to work. They were reaaly surprised. There was no table yet 3- The room was not clean 4-When I was at 7h55 for the breakfast, they told me that it is 8h00.
