It's perhaps an open minded hostel where you can also have some good parties. There is a nice common room and a outdoor chill-out-zone with a bar. But unfortunately the cleanliness was the worst we ever experienced. The floor was gluey and it smells a bit strange. Perhaps the big dogs had tagged their way. Also it is a bit weird that you can't lock your room. Steffen, from Germany ~ 15th Sep 2009

This was the first Hostel i ever stayed in, and it took me a second to really feel comfortable but i realized that i just had to jump in with both feet and Casa Babylon was a really great comfortable space to do that in Talia, from USA ~ 6th Sep 2009

I understand people that put 100% on this place, but some sad facts and episodes decrease it to 70-80-ish. The outdoor chillout lounge is ONE OF A KIND and rooms are fair enough, but obviously the friends of the staff, local spanish boys, come here to drink and smoke in the afternoon/night, and we were victims of staffinternal waterwar with no excuses. 1/3 of staff with no english, double room unneccessary to small. Not the nicest and newest place, but you might very well LOVE it Audun, from Norway ~ 28th Jul 2009

Go there only if you\'d like to party but do not go there if you actually planned on enjoying your day. At 1am it was still partying hard but at 9am there was still nobody at the reception and I missed my bus to the next city I wanted to visit, even though I warn them the day before of my departure!! If you're looking for cool, colourful, cheap accommodation in Malaga you can't beat Casa Babylon. The house is beautiful and full of character, the staff are so friendly and treat you like one big family. It's the most sociable hostel I've ever stayed in, it's easy to relax and make friends here, people hang out together on the terrace which is great! I liked it so much I came back. Viva Casa Babylon! :) Rachel, from England ~ 2nd Jun 2009

Just had 7 great nights at Casa Babylon! The staff didn't speak very good English, they had a couple of dogs and there was a lot of construction noise in the mornings, but the staff were very charming, helpful and fun, the dogs were great fun and I'm a good sleeper, so all in all it's a perfect place to stay! Rooms are tidy and bathrooms are awesome. Greatest thing, though, were the social surroundings that made it easy to meet new people! I'll definitely be going back some day if I need a bre Christopher, from Denmark ~ 5th Jun 2009
