The owners are good people, familiar and they are helpful. However we could not reach them by phone once at the airport for pick up, so we had to take a taxi. It´s a little bit far from the center but you can take a taxi and it´s plenty of them. It takes you just 5 minutes and it costs 3 soles ($1). Supermarkets and banks across the street. In a walking distance there is a collectivo stop to Chinchero and Urubamba and a Cheap Internet place. Anna, from Spain ~ 12th Jul 2009

very nice little old woman runs the hostel. it was quiet, dont think more than one other person was there while we were. its about a 10-15 minute walk to get to the center of cusco. being next to the grocery store is really helpful. it definitely is NOT 6 blocks from the airport, but its a quick cab ride. The water was cold, did not get hot water for shower. Jia, from Canada ~ 26th Jul 2009

Only a 15 minute walk to the main plaza is well worth the peace, quiet, and lovely accommodating staff. This is not a rowdy youth hostel, but an excellent place to stay. As for the price, I paid $15 less to stay somewhere closer to the city, and it was not worth the loudness or cold showers. In conclusion, if meeting people, partying, or staying in/next to the main plaza aren't you're priority, staying here is worth the price. Emily, from USA ~ 28th Jun 2009

Very nice people and good cleaning service. I recommend this place. Alejandro, from Argentina ~ 2nd Jun 2009

this place was very nice, the room were very clean and the water always hot. but this accomodation is more like a hotel then a hostel. they have very good breakfast and a nice family who runs that hotel. unfortunately the price is way to high for travelers on budget, even for cusco. Very nice people and the place is clean and secure to leave valuables in while doing the Inca trail. However, its not the best place if you want to meet people and party. Andres, from Argentina ~ 17th Mar 2009

The staff is very friendly, the hostal is clean, but by the price it could have a cable TV, the shower is good, the bed is good, but it is not near the centre, have to take a cab to come and go, or walk about 15 minutes. Rodrigo, from Brazil ~ 16th Jan 2009
