Location is great, staff very helpful. The bunk beds are self-made, so you can sit upright in your bed if you have the lower one. There are no lockers in the room. Breakfast is moderate (toast/jam or corn flakes). They offer a joint dinner for 7 EUR. A part of the location is still under construction (noise starts at 9am). There is party nearly every evening until 3am. So its a great place for meeting people, but no one for people who need sleep :-) Christine, from Germany ~ 15th May 2012

This was the best hostel I have ever been to! The hostel owners gave us a warm welcome and gave us lots of helpful tips on where to go and what to see! They also made a point to get to know us and we all felt like one big happy family! They threw parties for a few nights and made us dinner for a couple others! Everyone was really nice and the atmosphere was wonderful! This hostel really helped make our trip! I can't even imagine how different it would have been if we had gone somewhere else. Catherine, from USA ~ 10th Apr 2012

Just impossible to fault this place, we only had one night there but were made to feel like long lost friends. Spent a fantastic evening there, all the guests were so sociable and huge credit goes to the staff for creating a special atmosphere, in a very special hostel. Urien, from Wales ~ 2nd Mar 2012

Although construction is not quite finished the area for living and cooking is really nice. You already feel that this is a very special hostel. I want to come back and see how everything looks like when done! The staff really cares about their guests. They gave us really good recommendations and patiently helped us planning our further route taking all options into account. The house is huge and even in the 12-bed-dorm we didn`t feel crammed. There is an extra bathroom for every dorm. GREAT! Josefine, from Germany ~ 25th Aug 2011

This was by far the best hostel We've stayed in. Although they are new and still working on new rooms, it was an excellent stay. None of the construction work they were doing on site interrupted my sleep (even when i slept in). Great atmosphere in the place very comfortable beds! Very cool old building too with very high doorways. The place was really awesome. Kenjo, from Iceland ~ 2nd Sep 2011

Staff was very nice and helpful, hostel is close to city center and bus station, supermarkets and cheap restaurants are close as well ("Coelho" is a very good place to get low priced meals). The hostel just has opened, everthing is new inside, big rooms, bunk beds with very comfortable mattresses, big kitchen, free WIFI. During the day it was a little noisy because some parts are still under construction, but at night it was very silent! Elisabeth, from Austria ~ 11th Aug 2011
