Casa de Don Pablo Hostel en Oaxaca, Mexico

A very nice hostel near by the Zócalo of Oaxaca, like 5 minutes walking. The staff is there 24/7. A save very well maintained place. It nice to sit in the yard and have a beer. Disadvantages are a bit higher noise level next to the yard, the lack of English knowledge of the staff and the fact that there are just few showers. Anyway one of the best hostels I've stayed in!! The staff at the hostal speaks English and are very helpful, and it is only five minutes walking from the Zocalo. However, I had booked a "four-person female dorm" and there were actually two attached rooms of four with no door between, which is essentially an eight-person dorm. As well, both nights I was there, there were guys staying in those rooms, even though I had confirmed upon arrival the female dorm. Finally, the doors to the rooms were never locked, so I didn`t feel the security was Ashley, from Canada ~ 10th Jan 2009
