I enjoyed my stay in the central backpackers in Dunedin very much. The hostel has a very nice and familiar atmosphere and a cute little cat that likes to be cuddled. It is a good place to stay for a longer as wellas for a short time. A few more windows in the kitchen and restrooms would have been nice, but I would still definetely stay there again! Good place to stay for the price you pay. My friend and I stayed at this backpackers for my graduation last weekend and thought that the place was modern and very clean. The owners were friendly and the location is very central and the people staying there were very nice and civilized. only a block away from the octagon.
