Chakana House Hostel en Bergamo, Peru

The Pros: Good security, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful.Beds were comfortable and warm, and it was nice having a television in our (private) room.Easy walking distance to a lot of the sights, and the free breakfast was tasty.Plenty of hot water for showers.The Cons: The walls were thin to the point that we were whispering in our room, because we could hear every conversation in all the rooms around us.The Wi-Fi didn't reach out of the common area, so we couldn't use it in Lindsey, from USA ~ 29th Apr 2012

Very nice staff and helpful.They called a taxi for us early in the morning to go to the train station towards Machu Picchu and gave Mass Times at Cuzco´s Cathedral.Bad part was my door wouldn´t stay locked so I had to leave my things with an unlocked door all day, but I felt safe enough with the people there to do so.Great Location as well, just a few blocks from one main square, and about four or five from Plaza de Armas through pretty busy touristy streets.
