Che Lagarto Hostels -Ipanema- Rio de Janeiro en Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Reserve el dormitorio privado y es bastante espacioso, pero la cama es un poco dura y peque~a para 2 personas. La reservacion por noche (en esta habitacion) es un poco cara y los muebles en general estan desgastados, aunque el buen ambiente por las noches y la localizacion recompensan la estadia. Terrible, music was too loud in the mornings and not much common space. Bathrooms were a health hazard, only stayed two nights and got out. Michelle, from USA ~ 8th Jul 2009

The hostel didn't received our reservation for the private room, so we stayed in the dormitory for a lower price. But in the evening there was a big misunderstanding because of the beds, as the staff didn't know which beds were free. As we checked out, we asked to call us a taxi. The staff of the hostel talled the taxi driver the price much more expencive as we paid by arrival. So, we first had a discussion with the taxi driver. The rest was fine. great location, friendly staff... could be cleaner, could be spruced up a bit - however i would still go back there if visiting rio. location is safe and only one block from beach. staff make the place... very helpful and fun. DAVID JW, from England ~ 8th Apr 2009

The hostel was overbooked so when I arrived I have to change to copacabana they r really desorganised
