It took an hour to check in, with no crowd and no line. Something was wrong with the registration desk computer, and the desk attendant was clueless, had to call support support was slow in coming, etc. No fallback option, guest just has to sit in the lobby for an hour ... Location was perfect, but still a little bit expensive for what you get. We asked them twice to change our bed sheets... I'm still waiting for it LOL Santos, from El Salvador ~ 11th Apr 2012

A good hostel.Nice to have rooms with only 2 beds/room. Only complaint is that they wouldn't turn the heat on, and we had to insist that they give us extra blankets. It was so cold in the room that we couldn't sleep. Overall, happy with the stay. Nichol, from Canada ~ 5th Apr 2012

This hoestel is clean, but location is kind of far away from middle of town. The WiFi is not working in the room. You have wait too long for hot water in bath, ant it is not hot enough either. Jae, from South Korea ~ 19th Mar 2012

Location is only good if you plan to hang around High Line, otherwise 4-5 good blocks to the subway station. I wasn't able to check in until 4pm, because check-in officially starts at 3pm, but the room wasn't cleaned yet, so I had to wait. Otherwise same as any other average hostel you been to. A good place overall, but if you're expecting a private room with two single beds, it's actually one full bed!! Call ahead and check to see if you're getting what you want. Andrew, from USA ~ 14th Mar 2012

No kitchen, tinny rooms, small shower place, not decorated at all, very dull hostel, the guest room is very small and almost outside.. Ilgizar, from Russia ~ 14th Mar 2012

HI, the Hostel was nice, looked freshly renovated. The only problem we had was that it was extremely cold at night because some nights the heating was not turned on. Other nights were fine though, but we started asking for the heating to be turned on every night just to make sure. Other than that it was a nice stay and really quiet, too. Best was the staff because they tried their best to help with everything! Alexandra, from Germany ~ 29th Feb 2012

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Wifi is only in the lobby, but that worked fine for us. The beds were comfortable enough and the bathrooms were relatively cleanI had shower shoes but probably did not need them. It's also only 3 blocks away from the subway, in a good part of town. I would avoid the family room (319), at least until they fix the heater/radiator/whatever that thing on the wall is. It ticks VERY loudly around every 45 minutes and wakes you up every time.
