A no-frills sort of place, but very clean/well-kept. The local scene can get kind of loud until all hours of the night, but if you can sleep through that, it\\\'s no trouble. No reason I wouldn\\\'t stay again.

The private double room was perfect for a young couple, even had a small balcony of it's own. The location is very near the university and Kensington Market and has free parking. Also near the best breakfast in town at Maggi's (400 College St.!!)

Only comment would be that it could use a room/closet to store luggage if you want to pick up your luggage later in the day after you check out. They currently use the office for this purpose which is less secure (not to mention has virtually no room).

Excellent neighborhood and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner but on the whole it wasn't bad. Would stay there again.

That place was the worse hostel I've stayed at; liveable, but bad.

For 60$, I was not expecting the best room ever but at least a minimum. They were holes in the walls, the room was smelling bad, the carpet was disgusting and the curtain was half not there so people can see in the room from other balconies.

i stayed there for 2 days, i chose private room. our room was 3rd floor, the balcony and window were dirty. and at shower room, the right side's shower was broken.

The doors to the rooms do not automatically lock, so they were pretty much always being left open by roommates. The lockers in the rooms were out of commission. The carpets were old and in dire need of replacement. One of the showers didn't work so we had to take turns. Free parking is supposedly reserved for private rooms only, though there is municipal parking within 2 blocks for $11/day. The location is excellent. There are many shops and indie restaurants on the same street and the
