The location, rooftop views, hundreds of potted plants and friendly hostel kitty were great. The rooms and baths are basic, sometimes with no hot water. Walls are thin so privacy is limited. Breakfast is minimal, with only bread and jam, juice and coffee. Jeff, from USA ~ 30th Sep 2009

I don't think they wash their linens between clients. We checked out of our room but stayed around the hostel to wait for our bus and the beds were made with the same linens that we used but I don't think they had enough time to actually washa nd dry them. Allison, from Canada ~ 14th Sep 2009

Excellent location and great staff. Have breakfast up on the roof-top deck as the view is astounding. Best coffee we had in any hostel in South America as well. It was a charming old building with lots of character. I adored the rooftop terrace and at breakfast there my first morning as I looked out at Misti. It is located very close to the monastery and only a couple of minutes walk to Plaza de Armas. Trudy, from USA ~ 19th May 2009
