Bathrooms were not very clean and rooms were extremely small.Other guests were boisterously loud during the late night hours and even early morning which made sleeping difficult. Great location close to many sites of interest in Copenhagen.Cost was adequate for services rendered.

We\'ve been in several hostels in europe and that\'s the smallest room we\'ve seen. We went in February and the bathrooms were freezing cold too because there\'s no heaters in there. The only two things enjoyable about this place is the main room downstairs and the location.

Hi Camille, thanks for your response. You are right our rooms are not huge, because we want to offer our guests low prices at the best location. As you know Copenhagen Downtown has the best location - better than any 5 star hotel in Copenhagen. This makes the sq meters expensive. But there is other hotels like Danhostel Copenhagen Amager that has the facilities you expect,

If we are in a room and decide to stay one more day we need to change the room, I dont know why. When we make the booking we dont choose the room, if there is a booking in my room to somebody that didn't arrive yet, its easier to change the room of who is not in the hostel. But no, i needed to put all my staff in my bag...go up until the last floor, and my room wasn't ready...And to take the bed staff downstairs with us its desnecessary and stupid. A bargain concerning the location and the average danish prices. Nice hostel bar, very good showers on the floor (I haven´t been in a room with a shower inside). Only drawback is, that there is no Wi-fi in the rooms (but connection and plugs are available in the hostel bar). Be sure to check out the sandwich shop just down the street! Hey,we stayed at this hostel for 2 nights from 07-09.01.2012,its such anice hostel,with lovely helpfull staff and great location.there are alot of information flyers about where you can go,and some special discounts.the minuses are 1)very small,uncomfortable kitchen with 3 rangettes but only 1 of them is working,and a fridge was full with no space for our food unfortunately.2)we booked a room in october for 5 persons,but our room was with 4 beds and 1 folding bed,room was TOO small,like a single Olga, from Russia ~ 12th Jan 2012
