Dee's Homestay en Other Fiji, Fiji

Even before we had met Dee she had already been a fantastic help to us by letting us store our luggage with her for a week before we even stayed there and changing our dates, all at no extra cost. We only stayed 2 nights but were made immediately comfortable and the family is so sweet and charming. Dee\'s homestay deserves a great rating for the hospitality alone. We booked a night there but fortunately we called the hostel before arriving and they said they weren't expecting anybody and they went out.

Sorry Michela, we did not receive any call from you at all, as it is our policy never to send anyone away. We are in the business of accommodating backpackers to save them money from booking other expensive accommodations. If you booked with Hostelworld, your booking will automatically show up, so how can we not be expecting you. Please re-check the number you called or if you can recall to whom you spoke to than we can deal with it so as this will not happen again. Again we sincerely apologise.

Don't expect a luxury resort or first world accomodations at Dee's Homestay. The place is basic and not as clean compared to hotels and motels in Western countries. However, Dee's Homestay provides the opportunity to meet Dee, her family, and friends. So, if you are looking for a cultural experience and are willing to lower your standard of cleanliness, I would recommend Dee's Homestay.
