I would recommend Dioskouros place to anyone spending time in an active way outside of the room. The location is great - all things worth of seeing are in a walking distance. Plaka is a really nice place including good, not so expensive restaurants and all souvenirs shops. The staff is helpful if you ask for directions/advice but misleading sometimes. On breakfast you get tea/coffee, bread, butter, jam and some fruits - usually oranges. noting special but always something :-) Andrzej, from Poland ~ 2nd Oct 2009

Good hotel with handy location and very clean shared bathrooms. Only dissapointment was the AC which cost an extra 10 Euro and even then only comes on at 11pm till morning. Lucky we didn\'t need it. Andrew, from New Zealand ~ 13th Aug 2009

the staff were very friendly and helpful! the hostel is one block away from the temple of zeus and right in the center of all of the best shopping, eating and sightseeing. a good place to drop off your stuff and take off for an adventure, but there's not much to do at the hostel itself (no internet, etc..) but why would you go to athens to hang out at the hostel!?! ;) two points of improvement: only having one key per room was a hassle, and the downstairs shower was frustratingly inadequate for andrea, from USA ~ 10th Aug 2009
