Dizzy Daisy Backpackers Hostel en Zagreb, Croatia (Hrvatska)

A short tram journey from the centre of Zagreb and the train station or Jarun lake in the opposite direction. Very clean hostel with a fully equipped kitchen. Bathrooms only shared between two bedrooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. darren, from England ~ 28th Aug 2009

The hostel is poorly catered; they don't do towels, but they also don't replace toilet paper or care about you. Also, be ready to have coins if you want to use the vendor machines because they won't have change. Unless you're a one-night visitor to the city, I'd avoid these hostels.

You have to consider that no coins for changing isn't something to complain about, because almost every person that wants to use the vendor machine asks us for change, so naturally that it happens that we do not have coins. Also, if you use the toilet paper and run out of it, all you should do is come and ask us, we do not know what is happening in your room while you are staying there, did you or didn't you ran out of paper.

it was much more better than we expected.Great building,large garden,clean,safe,and friendly. Cupboards,showers and even table lamps in every room.The staff is so friendly and helpful.Its not far from the city center, you can walk in 20 minutes(thats what i like) or take the tram which works all day and night and go there in 10 min.i strongly recommend this hostel..
