Downtown Washington Hostel en Novi Sad, Estados Unidos

I've stayed at every hostel in DC in the past few months, but I avoided this one due to a few reviews that claimed it had bed bugs. But I heard a lot of good things as well, and because it was very convenient to my destination, I finally took a chance and I have to say this is the best hostel in the city, hands down. The management team is amazing, friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is the most welcoming I've seen anywhere. If there were issues, the management team has fixed them. I really enjoyed staying at the hostel because I had a blast. I met some really great British army guys and others from a variety of countries. I would stay there again because all the staff cared about my needs. They were extremely friendly, and it is easy to tell that they care about what they are doing. Thanks everyone, especially Jason. Cheap and very cosy hostel. Notning bad to say about it besides the neighborhoud. Free pancakes every morning (made of pancakepowder and water - but it's still for free). Rooms were clean, beds comfy and three bathrooms - which was enough. You can do your laundry for free and there is a kitchen. The staff were extremely friendly and we had a good time at the hostel. I was happy with the friendly staff & the great location. However, I wasn't impressed by the cleanliness. The floors & bathrooms could have been much cleaner. My roomate also thinks she may have gotten bed bugs:(...she had red bites all overher body the day after we left but when we called the hostel they seemed unconcerned. Hopefully not bed bugs! This place is worth a try for a fast, cheap trip but keep an eye out in case anyone else reports bites in their reviews, too, & bring shower shoes! Brittany, from USA ~ 25th Apr 2012

After a annoying Greyhound Trip - when everything sucks - I arrived at this Hostel. It was the best time, the Pancakes are tasty, the roomy are clean, the people, especially the Workers there, nice, smart and friendly. The atmosphere was absolute great. The living room, where u CAN meet the others makes everything perfekt. Die WiFi works, the fridge works, the kitchen works, the location with some nice bars around works. The good: - The hostel is close to Union Station. - Every morning there are pancakes for breakfast made by Chef Russel and they are good :) - The staff is friendly and helpful The bad: - A friend left an i-pod on a bed a day before leaving. It was delivered to the manager who put it in his car and it was not back by the time we left the hostel and he did not want to pay to send it to us. - There are only 3 bathrooms and 3 showers.
