Edelweiss Youth Hostel en Barcelona, Spain

This a good basic hostel if you´re just looking for somewhere to stay the night and don´t want much of a social scene. I had the best nights sleep I´ve had since travelling. Easily the best way to get to the hostel is to get the metro to Murta and then look for the cinema, the number 39 bus stops right outside the cinema & from there its about 8 stops until the hostel. ok if you want a quiet place to sleep. not very social, kind of far away from everything (walk and metro). not much going on at the hostel. clean. wifi did not work on my mac. nice staff though. you can def find better in barcelona. Alex, from USA ~ 12th Jul 2009

edelweiss is a lovely hostel.quiet and clean with very freindly staff and all the quests were lovely too..the only problem is that its abit out of the centre and you will have to be able to walk up hills but the view is great and its a great place to chill and rest antony, from Greece ~ 1st Jul 2009

Very clean. Bunks were large enough so I could sit on them without trouble, but only a small, maybe 0.5 cubic meeter at most, locker. Bring your own lock. Free net was good, and location was pretty good aside from it being about a 10 min walk from the nearest metro stop. Review the directions on how to get there before you leave: they are good but you might want to get an idea before you start questioning if the zig-zag trip is right :) Zachary, from USA ~ 9th Jun 2009
