The Elephant on the Moon hostel was awesome! It feels more like your staying at a friends house then a hostel. The staff are all excellent people. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

I chose to book this hotel based on the reviews it had been given by past guests - and what a great decision this was. I would highly recommend The Elephant on the Moon to anyone. It's about a 15 minute walk from the main square, but it's easy to get on the tram. The tram stop is a 2 minute walk from the hostel and is very cheap and it's about a 5 minute journey from the centre. The staff are some of the most friendly and informative we have ever met and it was cleaner than some 5 star hotels we

the staff (aga, anna, nick & gregory are the friendliest i ever met throughout my travels. they did everything possible to make each guest's stay very comfortable. i definitely recommend this hostel to anyone going through krakow.

We stayed here 21.-24.6.08 and had such a great time :) If we'll ever visit Krakow again (sure we will) we'll definately book a bed from Elephant on the Moon. We highly recommend it!!!
