The atmosphere is very good when you approach the hostel, even if it's located in a neighborood not to good where to walk in the night when you return in your bedroom: the building is nice and the hall is quite good looking. Then one of the girl at the reception was quite indifferent to us when we arrived and during the other days when we asked some questions: to be honest, the other staff members helped us a little bit more and smiling. The room is very bad, the shower draining is on the floor Andrea, from Italy ~ 11th Jan 2012

We were there 4 nights accommodation, the hotel is located only 6 minutes walk from the Metro, Metro is about 15 minutes to the main sights. The room was cozy, great staff, breakfast was also delicious. I can recommend. Located in a safe neighborhood. This is probably the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in.We were probably the youngest people there though.I felt like I was staying in what would be a nice motel in the U.S.The reason why it has the price it does is because of it's location. It's only the outskirts of the city, about a 25 minute metro ride from the center. It's also a fairly long walk from the metro stop.On the plus side it's relatively close to a night bus stop which we took to get to the airport at 4 in the morning. I was a bit worried at first about this place as a) it was my first hostel experience and b) I had read some stories about it being miles away from anywhere. However, on arrival all these fears were banished! It's in a good, safe district - about 5 minutes walk from Porte de Bagnolet metro station (about a 7 minute trip into central Paris), supermarkets and a great boulangerie, close to Cemetaire Pere Lachaise for all you Doors fans. The hostel is clean and safe, beds are comfy and the breakf Helen, from England ~ 27th Jun 2011

Nice and soft beds with decent sized rooms, but a bit too far away from the metro and kind of hard to find. But the staff was very helpful and didn't hesitate to change our room when we reported that our toilet was leaking. The bathroom floor was gross and so was the shower curtain, but everything else was pretty clean. I wouldstay here again, it got the job done as we got a pretty good night's sleep and it was cheap. Once you know where it is, you can get there pretty fast from the metro. Frida, from Sweden ~ 12th Jun 2011
