This was a great place! It would be nice to have/ or to be notified that one should bring: a fresh towel, toilet paper, soap. Fortunately, one need walk less than two miles from the location to purchase these items. Barbara, from USA ~ 19th Jul 2009

We enjoyed our stay very much! The staff was very friendly and the hostel clean and nice with good prices. We were also pleased with the guidings of Johannesburg. We recommend the hostel deeply! Erik, from Sweden ~ 2nd Aug 2009

This was a very good backpackers. The bar was seperate from the main house and most accomodation was out the back. Television showed a fair amount of watchable channels, although BBC entertainment didn't have any sound. The staff were pleasant and provided a good customer service. There was one person there that we weren't sure was a long term guest or a patron that was very annoying (loud, rude and often totally drunk Dutch man). Excellent security and rooms etc very clean.
