Well situated hostel, near 2 metro stop. Big quiet rooms and helpfull staff. There is only 2 showers (and WC inside) for all the hostel, so the morning you have to wait a long time to take a shower or go to the wc... ciarlan, from Belgium ~ 25th Aug 2009

The building and the hall is very really dirty and old. If you can you should make your booking in hotel in budapest.

i believe you made a mistake with booking in a hostel. which is your problem, but if you transfer this anger to my hostel, that is really bad for me- as i read your numbers and comment, i really do not see, how could i make your stay more happy.:( The building where the hostel is located was build around 1930, and as all houses except 5* hotels in Hungary no renovation was done in communism.

This hostel wasnt a big party place, if you are coming back from walking around it is a good place to relax, be on the internet. As far as meeting people its a little bit difficult, not a party hostel.. But my sister and I really enjoyed its quaitness and comfort, I would stay again for the price! I would definitely stay here again! The staff are very helpful, located 2 blocks from Blue Metro line & its easy to walk to the Buda side. The hostel was easy to find after reading previous comments about signage & if you look down on the ground you'll see "hostel" printed on the footpath with an arrow. We were able to leave our bags there on our last day while we rode around on the bikes we hired from the hostel. Breakfast was good, cereal, toast, tea and coffee available. This place was fantastic! It is kind of small, so if you are looking for big groups of people to meet, it may not be for you. Other than that, I cannot say enough good things about it. They provide free-wi and if you do not have a computer, they have 2 on-site. The room was very clean and they provide you a lock for your gear. The bathrooms are clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Follow the directions they give you, otherwise you probably will have a hard time finding the place Clayton, from USA ~ 6th Jul 2009
