The facility well met my needs for this occassion. Both Brian and Lyn were very accommodating for a first time user of this type of accommodation. If you are looking for a place to stay that is low cost and ok to \'just crash\' this venue will meet your needs. Armin, from Australia ~ 17th Nov 2009

Not the most on-site people running this place but it's a nice place, quiet and just far enough out of the thick of things to have some peace. The walk into Cairns takes about 10 minutes by the beach - nice! Vaniah, from England ~ 12th Nov 2009

Location is about 10 minutes walk from town centre, but close to the sea. A supermarket is nearby. Security was excellent and the staff was very helpful. Reception closes at 5 pm, but there is a free phone number provided for out of office hours. I would definitely recommend this hostel for those who don't seek necessarily a party place, but would like to maintain a little bit of privacy. Zoltan, from Hungary ~ 20th Nov 2009

The stay in the hostel was very nice! The staying is cheap, personel is extremely helpful and nice and the place is clean - a good place to relax from exhausting flights! Erkka, from Finland ~ 1st Nov 2009

It was the best hostel I've ever stayed. Very clean, cheap and the staff is very friendly. We had our own kitchen and bathroom and we were 4 people in one room. To the party in cairns you have to walk some minutes, but so the hostel is very quiet. I'm sorry to leave it!! Schnekenburgerq, from Germany ~ 28th Oct 2009
