The Grand Hostel was great for the location, the staff was super friendly and nice.The rooms were good, but caution if you have a heavy bag! There are about 4 stories, not a big deal though. The bathrooms don't have any ventilation and are small so they get a little stuffy and dirty, but nothing the average person can't deal with. Would pick it again! Clare, from USA ~ 10th Apr 2012

very nice place, new (open July 2011), in the very old town area. clean, cosy rooms. breakfast included, free internet, friendly staff. i'd go there again - good option for a short, cheap stay in Gdansk. Marek, from Poland ~ 10th Oct 2011

Because whoever created this hostel brought all the necessary features of a good hostel to perfection and left out the unnecessary features, my stay was a pleasure. The rooms are tastefully furnished and immaculately clean, there are enough showers and toliets, privacy is guaranteed, warm water is plentiful, the breakfst is delicious, and the staff is friendly, laid-back, well-informed and helpful.Loved it.
