I gave a few poor scores simply because our dorm got flooded on my last night. The roof was not just leaking but waterfalling all night. We got no sleep, they didn't fix it til early morning and we weren't even moved into a new room. Whatsmore, we only got 10% of the cost back even though we were up all night and wet. Nice Hostel. Great location on the edge of red light district. We were 3 friend and booked 2 nights in 8 bedmixed dorm. We've got 3bed private ensuite what was nice! If you want to be in the heart of Amsterdam you are in the heart of Amsterdam.You are located right on the edge of the Red Light District (there is some girls across the street, but most of the are down the road).The breakfast is okay, as much coffee as you like. The first woman that checked me in was very unsociable and didn't give me any information, but the rest of the staff is very friendly.The bathrooms are stained with the smell of urine.Even after the staff would go through and clean them Chelsea, from USA ~ 14th Aug 2011
