I have spent a very quiet time in this hostel, the staff is very very kind, it's in the city centre, at 5mn from bars and restaurant, but in a quiet street. I chose this hostel because of the positive reviews on this site and I was not disappointed. The hostel is situated in the heart of the historical centre of Valencia, with close transport links to the other important must sees in this vibrant city. The hostel itself was friendly and very clean with the bathrooms checked hourly. All the staff were excellent with a special mention to Polish ladies on reception (sorry no names) who were knowledgeable on the city and very were helpful. Neil, from England ~ 8th Oct 2011

Best location. Clean. Nice interior. But most of all we enjoyed the staff - all of them were really friendly, positive, helpful when ask for something. I would like to thank specially to Fernando (one of the people working there). He has great personality! He gave us the most useful information about Valencia - what to visit, what time, where to go, transport, etc. He made our stay memorable!!! All the rooms were different, but each was cozy and charming. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The whole place had a very laid back, chill vibe. My boyfriend and I stayed at a number of hostels in Spain, and this one was our favorite. Anna, from USA ~ 14th Jul 2011

Hilux was the best hostel stay I had through out my entire trip. (by far). Everyone on their staff was sooo nice and friendly. Hostel itself is located in heart of the city and definitely has a character of its own. I'm never inclined to leave a comment for hostels I've stayed in but this place is an exception.
