this is a good place for one night but without fun or character since it's a room in a big appartment building. The door was not closing by itself when leaving, which can be a potential security risk. The bath room was not really clean but I arrived late so that might be the reason. Overall, fair enough to stay a night but I didn't have the very safe & warm feeling as in other hostels. I went to Hongdae Guesthouse after staying at another accomodation for 10 days. What a difference it was. I stayed at Hongdae for 7 days and it was really enjoyable. As a tall person (194cm) in korea, the high ceilings are very much appreciated and whats even better is the showers...imagine a hot sweaty day and then coming to a nice big roomy shower with hot/cold water and it actually has a high pressure flow...very nice indeed...the bed is very comfy. Hongdae Guesthouse was the best hostel I've stayed at in Seoul. I've stayed at a few different ones, but this one was by far the cleanest, nicest, and best located one ever. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone. Grace, from USA ~ 7th Jul 2009
