This `hostel` is a great find.I would highly recommend value for money- we stayed in a double room, but I didn't like that we had to walk down the hallway to our bathroom. No rooms seem to have ensuite bathrooms. But other than that gripe- excellent choice for a stay in Mendoza. Natalie, from Australia ~ 31st Oct 2009

Great place for family - great location - staff not as helpful as we had thought they would be for planning activities, but somewhat helpful.I would recommend, with the understanding that the beds are not the MOST comforatbel, but the room was clean and private restrooms were great! This is no party hostel but a great quiet place to stay. This was my second visit and I was equally happy both times. Katherine, from USA ~ 13th Oct 2009

If I needed to come back to Mendoza for a week of wine tasting, I'd definetly come back to this place. They are very helpful and rooms are big and clean. Andres, from Venezuela ~ 19th Jul 2009

Very good location, in the heart of central Mendoza, near Plaza Independencia. Bedrooms were nice, except for the air conditioning that didn't work so well and for the street noise when the window is left open. The bathroom was very clean but one of them had a slight bad smell. If you're not seeking a hostel expecting to meet people there and have a good time, this is a great and quiet place. Francesco Camara, from Brazil ~ 6th Mar 2009

This is a great, friendly place to stay. Guests should be aware that they have to ask to have the air-conditioning turned on in their rooms because the staff (appropriately) turns the AC off to a room when that room's occupants leave the hostal. A fine place to stay -- we stayed three extra days! David, from USA ~ 22nd Jan 2009

A very nice hostel in a nice location, but perhaps not quite worth the US $40 per night. Rooms are large and comfortable, staff is friendly, and the place is located a stone's throw away from some good restaurants, a number of nice plazas, and a supermarket. Hostel's kitchen is small but workable. Unfortunately, most rooms get a lot of street noise, both during the day and at night, and the promised AC only worked occasionally. There are certainly better values to be found in Mendoza, but still Kevin, from USA ~ 20th Jan 2009

Very clean, fairly quiet, nice place. So long as you don't mind going down the hall to your own private bathroom, this is a great place. There are rooms with windows to the street which are louder (particularly on weekends) or rooms with windows to the courtyard for more tranquilidad. Katherine, from USA ~ 10th Nov 2008
