I had a wonderful stay in Hostel Jhomana, it was located close to a rejuvenated area in Quito that was still a bit unfriendly at night, but the staff was very accommodating and honest about safety concerns and so on. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the showers were hot! The breakfast was a little too simple for my tastes, but free non-the-less. I would definitely recommend staying at this hostel, especially if your Spanish speaking. Chad, from USA ~ 6th Jul 2009

Private rooms were nice. Overall a good hostel with friendly staff. Communication was a bit of an issue. I stayed for a week, but there was rarely an English speaking person at the front desk to help me. Brett, from Canada ~ 30th Jul 2009

Ganz okay. Die Diskussion um einen plötzlich höhreren Preis nach Abauf der im Internet gebuchten Tage hat aber genervt. Letzlich ist es aber beim selben Preis geblieben. Okay.
