Hostal Marlasca en Madrid, Spain

This little hotel was so beautiful and right in the middle of down town where everying was going on. The decor was so elegant and traditional. And the people were really understanding because i acciddentaly booked a room with 2 double beds instead of one big bed, and they switched me to the type of room i wanted free of charge. The Hostel is very near Sol station of metro (300mt). in front of Plaza del Sol, the problem is that this is the very deep center of Madrid and the plaza was going through a reform, so it was very noising and crowded. All along the night, a group of drunk Americans kept screaming in front of the hostel all night long, and even in the second floor was difficult to sleep. The hostel has a very small elevator, which is very good, but it is a typical old building of madrid adapted to be a hostel. T Gustavo, from Brazil ~ 6th Jul 2009
