It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the centre and in a bit of a random area with no restaurants or shops close by. However nice and quiet and lots of lovely outside areas with seats and hammocks - perfect for relaxing after long days and early starts doing activities near San pedro. Stayed in a double room with my girlfriend which was clean along with the bathroom. Hot water 24 hours a day was not enitrely true! The onwners were fine with us but do have very limited english! Ok this place is a real `mixed´ bag review, Good stuff... open fire pit in eating area, stunning views of volcanoes, HOT showers any time of day, clean and warm beds, sun deck on roof for private sun bathing, feels like you are staying with the Chilean owners and for me seemed quite authentic. Bad stuff... I emailed to get pick up from bus terminal that didn´t happen, and was unable to `give them all call´ as requested as they don´t list a number so walked there! A nice hostal just outside the city centre (10 min. walk), the only downside I can think of is the fact that the lady who washed our clothes threw a napkin in the washing machine or something like that...
