We loved it so much that we canceled our other hostal and stayed a second night. Clean, great location and we had a view of the Gran Via. Metro is a 2 minute walk and there is plenty to see and do in the area. Megan, from USA ~ 24th Mar 2009

Very well located on the Gran Via. Close to many quaint restaurants and about 100m from a major subway stop. Price was very reasonable and the room was very clean. It is not the easiet place to find as there is no sign indicating precisely where the hostel is. I had to wonder around a bit before I found the door bell to the place. I was very happy with our choice, for a hostel I don't think we could have done any better. It was close to everything downtown and the staff were accomodating. However, it's not a party hostel, more so just for a base and sleeping. Which I was fine with, you get all the entertainment when you're out at night. I highly recommend Hostel Santillan.
