Hostal Santillan en Salvador, Espana

This hostel was wonderful, it had character, it was clean and the staff was helpful. My room had it's own bathroom which was tiny but was clean and had all the essentials, including shampoo, body wash, tissues and cups. It is more of a hotel than a hostel so don't expect the typical youth hostel environment. It is perfect for couples. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. Everything is perfect, however, it was so hot at the room.( I could not find the air-conditioning) The staffs were so nice, however, their english were bad... Anyway, they would like to try their best to help me, very helpful CHUN-KIT, from England ~ 21st Jun 2011

I liked this hostal so much that I booked it for an extra night on my return trip to Madrid.It is close to a lot of restaurants, a 5 min walk to Puerta del Sol, and the rooms are clean, larger than expected and classically furnished.A great value for the money. Jennifer, from USA ~ 16th May 2011
