This hostel is situated in a great location. It's close to the train station, the main plaza, and the bus stop to machu picchu. The staff is really friendly but there is a slight language barrier for english speakers. It is located right off the river which is being "renovated" when we were visiting. It's maybe noisy from time to time. as for the shower, hot water is a coin flip. Overall, we had a good stay at this place. Give this place a try. Michael, from USA ~ 13th Nov 2009

One of the cleanest hostels I've ever stayed at. Private bath is well kept in shape. Comfy beds! Hot water was limited but what can you expect in a small village in the Andes. Helpful employees and the LOCATION!. 2min walk from the train station. easy to get to the bus stop in the morning for Machu Picchu. Staying overnight in Aguas Calientes is worth it so you miss the big crowd which roars into Machu Picchu around 11am. Hit it up early and climb Waynapicchu. Its worth it.
