the hostel itself is very tastefully arranged for a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is one of the nicest, patient and helpful on the hostel scene. This place helps newcomers unwind in bustling and chaotic San Jose. highly recommended. meredith, from American Samoa ~ 22nd Jun 2009

Great location - not right in the centre but only a short walk away. The staff were fantastic , very friendly and helpful. The pnly problem is the noise, and I think perhaps it is common place in San Jose, the noise from the traffic can be heard early morning to wake you and this was from the room right at the back - pack your earplugs! A bit noisy at night since our room faces the court yard where everything can be heard clearly. Room was nice with high ceilings and very clean. Mattress was comfortable. You need to bring your own shampoo/towel, otherwise you'll have to pay additional. Breakfast was toast and coffee. Yuchi, from China ~ 17th Feb 2009
