Dirty, noisy, shower was inside the room, too many beds for the size of the room. They did not give me back the 5pounds deposit for the key. Breakfast was also awful: only afew things to choose from. At 10am we weren't done with our breakfast yet and they said they had to close and sent us out without having finished. I paid 1 pound for 1hour internet access and the countdown stopped 5 minutes before the hour. No lockers anywhere. A disaster. I will tell everyone not to stay there. The hostel is run down and need maintenance. When you order a room with shower is it just a shower cabinet in the room and without ventilation. The beds was also run down with a mattress with a hole in the middle. The duvet was very thin and some of them was very just a plaid. When we arrived was the duvet cover dirty. The window was not tight. The badrooms where dirty and there was only 1 out of 3 toilets which was usefull and only 1 out of 3 washbasin was usefull. Good things is the staff, they're really nice and are willing to help. The breakfast consists of corn flakes, milk, bread, butter and jam and it is fair enough but it is usually really crowded since the hostel is huge compared to the "cantine". Location is poor because only 1 on each 3 trains reach Kensal Green (the others stop in Queens Park and you have to wait until one comes). Atmosphere: loud (drunk guests disturbing), people living there!!! Price: probably the cheapest/closest to do Jose Ignacio, from Spain ~ 17th Mar 2012

It's not a bad hostel..The value of money is great since the price is quite low. The locatuon is quite good since it's 1 minute walk from underground station and it's quite safe to walk at night..It's not quiet, but quite convenient since it has a bar, cafe, restaurant and other necessary facilities already. I had a good night sleep, but it would be much more pleasant if it was cleanier..Anyway, considering the unbelievably low price, I am quite satisfied with the hostel. Shuo, from China ~ 8th Feb 2012

i recommend to have internal locks for the shared room guests so as they will keep their small bag may be pyjamma or some other important thing. you should have more current information about the hostel cafeteria bars and other facilities. otherwise it was fantastic and nice time. i recommend people to stay in this hostel because they will get the value of their money. regards Suleaman, from Sweden ~ 29th Dec 2011
