Me and my bf stayed here for three nights. First and second nights were good but the third one we had to leave the hostel around 4:30am or 5. My bf was getting bit by something, may have been fleas or bed bugs, not sure. Other than that, it was ok, two blocks behing the cathedral in the Zocalo. Breakfast and Dinner were good. Just two blocks from zocalo, clean and friendly. Matresses are camp style (plastic surface), hallways echo and clientel were loud. Breakfast includes something cooked, fruit, cold cereal, coffee and tea. No water tombo. Katherine, from USA ~ 19th Mar 2012

Deberían controlar el ruido a las 5.00 6.00 am, hay mucho ruido externo, personas que gritan y hablan fuerte en el hueco donde dan las ventanas de las habitaciones que molesta y no deja dormir y es perfectamente controlable. les suiero que escuchen desde la habitación 102, por la ventana a esas horas y verán de lo que les estoy hablendo. The staff were fantastic whether they were teaching me to dance giving suggestions on where to eat or accomodating the rapid changes to my plans of when to arrive and leave.Everything was done with a quick smile and great service.Thank you Hostel Amigo Suites for a brilliant time. Stayed in a 2 and 3p. rooms. Double room is nice and roomy with a clean bathroom. Hot water. Value dropped a bit with the triple room's very low bunk beds. They couldn't provide locks for the lockers. Building has 4 floors and no elevator. Breakfest (ok) and 2 computers (free to use) are in the top floor. They provide different tours and trips from the hostel. I recommend the market tour but not the wrestling (BBQ was very lousy, trip is way overpriced, tequilas are at a different hostel...) Stayed in dorm and private room, both were clean and secure. Breakfast is cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, bread. Included dinner was also very basic (pasta, bread, veggies, etc.). Noise is significant and private room came with earplugs (second floor is best for sleeping). Good budget choice for groups, harder to meet friends for solo travelers.
