Hostel Die Etage en Dresde, Alemania

It's a basic backpacker hostel it's very affordable and the staff is very friendly. That is just about all the plus sides. It's not very clean, location is out of the center and the building and furnishings are very basic. But the staff make up for a lot and really are very helpful and friendly I only wish that they would work in a nicer hostel. Vincent, from Netherlands ~ 7th Mar 2010

Very clean. Location: around 8 minutes walk from the metro, but pass by LIDL on the way, which is great for cheap shopping. Consider avoiding it if you object to smoking: the place stinks of smoke!

Positive: Free WiFi, huge dining/common area, only one flight of stairs, very quiet neighborhood, two big supermarkets within steps of the hostel. Negative: far from downtown Berlin but conveniently near S-bahn station. No stove, only microwave.

Die Etage is just the best hostel I've been in Berlin. I'll have a good memory of it. First, i was really wellcome from the staff, not like other Hostels where they just tell you "ok here's your sheets, you must check out at this time, bye". nice rooms, nice toilettes, great showers, you have two supermarket in 50 mt..and it costed less then the half the price of any other hostel.. greet the staff Filippo

Big hostel with heaps of room, alittle too far from the city center but U-bahn just around the corner. Staff were helpful and everything was cleaned every day, would come back again
